Planning Guide For Hotel Conference Rooms

The Explorer Hotel offers the largest and most flexible conference and exhibition space in Northern Canada.  We can hold events and meetings for two to 350 people along with the food and beverage and support services needed to run a successful event.

We have conference rooms to accommodate meetings of almost any size; while our Trader’s Grill restaurant offers two private dining rooms for additional breakfast, lunch, dinner or reception options.

Our conference facilities include the Katimavik Ballroom and the Cumberland and Janvier Rooms. Room specifications are available here.

Note: The addition of staging and portable dance floor reduces the capacity of the Katimavik Room. Capacity can be increased to 350 with combination of round and square tables.
