Community Involvement in the North
The Explorer Hotel and its sister companies, the Frobisher Inn (Iqaluit) and Nunastar Properties Inc. (Edmonton and Iqaluit) proudly make contributions of over $200,000 per year to several non-profit organizations in both the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
The Explorer Hotel's corporate owner, Nunastar Properties Inc., has also established the Nunastar Fund for Northern Children which is a $1 million endowment fund created to support initiatives in the North that improve the lives of children.
